It then describes how the teams employ specific tactics and the roles and responsibilities of each position within various systems of play. The majority of the book focuses on how the coaches of the most prominent teams organize their team to achieve the best results.
Some of the most prominent countries are discussed in detail with a focus on the methods, tactics and style of play that makes each team successful. Some of the teams profiled are Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal from England, Villareal and Real Madrid from Spain, Bayern Munich from Germany, as well as Marseille from France.
